Video contest "India is..."

The Public Diplomacy Division of the Ministry of External Affairs has launched a global video challenge contest themed "India is...". The challenge is open to anyone anywhere in the world and can be a 3 minute video about India. The themes during the current year are:

1. India is .............Colorful
2. India is .............Creative
3. India is .............Wherever You Are

The contestants are expected to make a 3 minute video on any of the above three themes and submit these to www.indiais.org. The contest will be open from October 1 to December 31, 2011 and a reputed jury will select the best entries. Mumbai International Film Festival:

Mumbai International Film Festival for Documentary, Short and Animation Films (MIFF), is a festival organised in the city of Mumbai (Bombay) by the "Film Division", Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Govt. of India. It has been organised since 1990, and focuses on documentary, short and animation films.

This festival is held at the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA). Mumbai.

The eleventh edition of MIFF was held from February 3-9, 2010 at Mumbai and its upcoming edition will be held between 3-9 February, 2012.

Last date of receiving entries has been extended from 15^th September to 17^th October 2011.
